Lumina-Coat is an organic type I collagen membrane, derived from demineralized bovine bone, biocompatible and sterile. It acts as a mechanical barrier in bone graft surgeries, protecting the surgical site and promoting tissue regeneration. Resorbable and fluid-permeable, it supports blood vessel formation and predictable graft integration.

Lumina-Coat is indicated as an adjunct in bone regeneration and repair in medical-dental surgical procedures, in addition to serving as a controlled drug release matrix, such as:
• Alveolar filling in avulsions, extractions, and root resections;
• Periodontal intra-bony lesions;
• Periapical lesions;
• Filling of bone cavities;
• Minor volume corrections for esthetic purposes;
• Minor corrections resulting from periodontal and peri-implant bone fenestration or dehiscence;
• Biomechanical barrier in guided tissue regeneration processes;
• Reconstruction of periodontal ligament components.
The product must always remain in a closed surgical area, isolated from the environment.
